My passion for the art and craft of creating music
I have been a musician all my life. I love playing the guitar! I love writing music and performing my own songs and my favorites amongst those written by others. I love teaching various instruments and in the process learning every step of the way. I love recording, whether doing my own thing or as a studio musician, recording engineer, consultant, editor, mixer, whatever! I have been making my living by playing and teaching music for the most part since I was seventeen and plan to continue for as long as I am able. It's the perfect challenging life, balancing the deepest satisfaction with the most disheartening frustration. I wouldn't have it any other way!
I've dabbled in other things to get by on occasion, or just to try different things, but I'm proud to say I am a happy survivor of being dedicated to my art and craft, and that journey has led me to this fulfilling state of being that I'm in now in my sixth decade as a human being on this incredible planet Earth. I am happy, yet I am still inspired to continue to create and play my best.
