Most recently, back to performing...
I am continuing to perform solo these days, but more and more I am collaborating with other artists, especially the duo I have been developing with master bassist/singer Ted Swenson. We cover a wide variety of music from different genrés, including our unique arrangments of songs such as "Wrapped Aroound Your Finger" and "I.G.Y." and "Mrs. Robinson" and we are adding more and more originals from my various albums.
My most recent recording is a collaboration with the jazz guitar master John Stowell, titled "9 Treasures."
John and I recently played our first live concert together (we have played together a plethora of times in rehearsals and small gigs), and it was an incredible experience.
Check out my discography, which even includes a song or two you won't find anywhere on my albums, or anywhere else. Look for more unique content on this site going forward.

From improvisational beginnings, this collection of original jazz compositions evolved into nine musical gems that blend many facets of jazz, pop, funk, and other styles that captivate with their rich harmonies and inviting, gentle rhythmic flow. Unique themes weave hypnotically throughout, creating an auditory experience listeners won't soon forget. (Ok, this description does actually touch on what this musician/producer turned listener gets out of all this, but it's also quite a load of bullocks if I'm being honest!) John and I just invite you to have a listen, ideally when you're ready to just kick back and get mellow in the best listening environment you can put yourself into, and let it just take you on a ride that, for us, expresses our love and passion for the music just how it wanted to come out at the time we were making it.
Kit & John
"Like the love child of Michael Hedges, John McLaughlin, and Crosby, Stills and Nash. It's rare to hear guitar playing this good in a singer-songwriter context."
Mark Orton
"Kit is a musician's musician, one who has carved a musical path to playing what's in his heart. His fingers are deft and agile, and he plays what the song requires - not his ego - with soulful self-assurance."
