Getting back to live music, while continuing to explore recording...
Over the last several difficult years for all of us, I had a change in focus and motivation, away from live performance and into recording. I was able to enlarge my tool chest with improved software applications for recording and mastering along with the addition of a guitar synthesizer with which I have exponentially increased the instruments and sounds I can utilize to satisfy my wildly diverse musical interests, so I have "gone off" on a veritable plethora of new songs and updated versions of songs that have been languishing in my digital archives, waiting for the chance to come to life when powerful tools were acquired sometime in the future. The first resulting album, "Magic Is" featured below and via the wonderful review by Don Campbell on my home page.
I have followed that up with a collaboration with the jazz guitar master John Stowell, titled "9 Treasures." It was released on October 7th. Take a listen at Apple Music. I am continuing to perform solo these days, but more and more I am collaborating with other artists, especially the duo I have been developing with master bassist/singer Ted Swenson. Ongoing projects with John Stowell are lurking, and I've begun working with the wonderful singer/songwriter Owen Kortz, recently relocated from Colorado to my neck of the woods, doing some songwriting together and considering developing duo and possibly trio, or possibly larger ensemble together.

Magic Is
"Like the love child of Michael Hedges, John McLaughlin, and Crosby, Stills and Nash. It's rare to hear guitar playing this good in a singer-songwriter context."
Mark Orton
"Kit is a musician's musician, one who has carved a musical path to playing what's in his heart. His fingers are deft and agile, and he plays what the song requires - not his ego - with soulful self-assurance."
